As the sole proprietor of Real World Projects, I'm continuously at "events." When you hear the word 'events', you might be thinking of something formal, but in reality my "events" could be any of the following:
- Being with friends, or any group of people, or engaged in conversation and listening for others' needs, in case I can offer something that would help them and that they would welcome
- Doing a group presentation on some aspect of health or wealth
- A meeting with someone to explain the basics of creating an income stream that has the potential to surpass anything we could earn "working for a living"
- A meeting with someone to discuss the essentials of better health for themselves and their families
- Dialing into a conference call to talk with people all across the nation
- A meeting with someone, either at my home office, in their home, or at a coffee shop or restaurant
- A highly enjoyable yearly Shaklee Global Conference where we all get together and learn
- A meeting with, or a mailing to, customers to tell them about new specials
- Transmitting information of interest to prospects or established clients
- Meeting with a "Master Mind" group of business people who want to help and work with each other
- Planning a strategy to increase sales, and therefore income
- Sharing the "secrets" of wealth with students, professionals, or anyone else interested in these concepts (they're not really "secret"--it's just that they don't teach us this in school or on the job!)
The point is, for me, "events" are happening all the time. Call it pre-scheduled fun, pre-scheduled work, or something else ... my events are really as flexible, formal or informal as I want to make them. That's the beauty of having our own business--we call the shots.
